You are NOT my friend, and you are NOT my fellow D-J.

Exams week is over, with some pretty good tests as it happens.
Last Biology was 'fun', if you can call it that; first time in MANY years I havent finished a test, let alone with about half hour to spare -.-'
Ah well, it was only the one question.

I really needed to do as well as possible on these though - I need to keep my teachers happy so if my re-sit marks are good, theyll re-evaluate my predicted grades. If they do THAT, I can crawl on my hands and knees back to some of my uni-choices, and beg them to reconsider - out of 5, Nottingham and Birmingham have been outright 'no's, Manchester teased me with the offer of an interview, but then canceled it, leaving only Nottingham Trent yet to reply, and Queen Mary in London offering an interview.
Worryingly, on my UCAS it says 'Unsuccessful' for Queen Mary, even though they asked me to come down, and they havent responded to my email queerying them on it. Badtimes.

Otherwise, if theyre still no's, Im going to have to wait until clearing, and see if I can get into a good uni with the marks I get - even more pressure then though, cause Ill have to get seriously good marks to impress anywhere good with the odd place. Very badtimes.

At least the speeding ticket didnt come through; the one that went off on the other side of the road coming home from Harrys. Goodtimes.
T-cut on a car is VERy good for removing surface scratches, and has made the car look a lot nicer. Also goodtimes.

A lesson learnt from the pub the other night - dont try and down wine, no matter how much; potential vomming occurs. -.-'

OKAIII THEN BUDDAYYY

After finally catching up on the last few weeks, I neglect the present, which was the point of updating -.-'

As it happens, nothing major to report - weve been off school all week for 'exam revision'; excellent use of time.
Maths C4 yesterday was THE hardest test Ive ever done in my life - if I got more than 10 on it itll be a miracle.
It put me in a seriously bad mood as well..
In Biology the other day I had to redo my graph because I hadnt done the rate - WHAT A FOOOOL. |:|
Another Bio tomorrow - I expect it to resemble C4. Lucky theyre mocks..

Bad moods plague me lately.
UCAS isnt helping, and certain things just make me want to put a brick through a window, just for a split second..
Ah well, shit happens.

Washed the car today as well - shineyshiney.
Really highlights the dent and the scratches.. -.-'

SKIING 2010, BLUE MOUNTAIN

After many, MANY months of waiting, skiing arrived. This was welcomed with my little accident the previous day, and it felt like a well desereved rest was needed.

Got up early on Sunday 14th and set off.
Got to school, put up a couple of banners for Mikes birthday, gave him his present (a Bad Mother Fucker wallet and a full-bleed Unicorn stronghold for his new deck) and left.

We got to the airport in good time, checked in, had a look around the shops, had a free shot of some vodka cocktail (that wasnt too bad either), and boarded.

Let me say now, if you ever have the oppertunity to fly Air India; dont. It was hideous.
Cramped, rubbish food, and there wasnt anything good on the telly-thing. Doesnt sound that bad, but when youre all spilt up from each other because the flight youve boarded has already been in the air for 12 hours from India, THEN you start to realise the problem.
I was next to an old Indian guy that slept the whole time and who seemed nice enough, and on the other side a guy called Mark. Im glad he started talking to me, he seemed pretty cool, and he helped make the flight a bit more interesting. We drank together; this was good. I had wine, he had gin.
We both spilt it all over ourselves at some point, so come off the plane smelling alcohol-ly.
Im still trying to find him on FB..

The real problem came when I tried to get off the plane; my passport was missing.
I remember putting it in my pocket about 2 hours before landing, but 20 minutes before getting off, and it wasnt there.
With the captain, a couple of cabin staff and some ground-crew, we searched all around, well, everywhere.
When I finally get off  the plane, Im marched into immigration, where a RUDE American(?) tells me Ill either be deported, or spend lots of money running around trying to get a new passport.
To spare you the details, an hour later after waiting, bag searching and phone calls home, I pay $200 to get into the country on a temporary permit. Luckily, Air India photocopied our passports at Heathrow, so I could prove I actually had a passport to begin with.
I got on the bus to appaulse, thankfully, and fell into a bad-mood sleep on the way to the hotel.
Mike and I have our first ninja cigarette, it was scary.

Monday is brilliant skiing with our instructor Ben, where we just rocket down loads of slopes all day - Greens up to Double Blacks; surprisingly good fun, seeing as how I htought Id be pushed out of Expert for 'not being aggressive enough'.
That night, Luke is very ill..

Tuesday, more rocketing about, and plans are made for me to go to Toronto to get my Emergency Passport.
Everyone goes swimming, but I duck out; partly bad mood still, mostly feeling ill.
That night, I am very ill.
Luke is still ill.

Wednesday, I go out for an hour or so again with everyone, but go in for a rest because moving makes me feel ill. I fall asleep in the public caffertia for an hour or two, getting weird looks when I periodically wake up; GOODTIMESSSS (Y)
I am still ill, but almost fully recovered
Luke is still ill, but almost fully recovered.
That morning, Teddy is ill.
That night, Mike is VERY ill.

Thursday I get up TOO early and head for Toronto with Carrott - we hired a car (paid for by yours truely). 2 hours there, 2 hours waiting around for my passport, 2 hours back. Nice, boring day. Further $156 for my passport.
We went night skiing that night, which was wicked. Ungroomed but slightly mushy snow is naiiice, and a good experience to have. BITTERLY COLD WINDS THOUGH.
Mike is still ill.

Friday was quite sad, becuase I was seemingly just getting fully into my stride, but it was hte best day for skiing; cold still, but bright sunlight all day.
It was nice to ski in sunlight, made it seem all happy and warm.
However, skiing the next day would have been hideous, as the snow was melting by the end of hte day, and wouldve frozen solid overnight, making skiing near impossible. Good way to end though :)
That night we headed for Niagra, and filled the coach journey with 20 Questions, except there was limitless questions, and what you were thinking of could be anything. At all. Sam managed some really obscure things, not helped by her misleading suggestions.. ¬¬
That night as well we went to look at the Falls by night, which is really rather nice.
The whole river was frozen, pretty much, and all the mist coming off hte falls was freezing on the railing aroudn the edge; it made pretty patterns which were particularly impressive to Emma, Pelham and me.. ^^

Saturday we went under the falls, which wasnt as impressive as Id hoped - the bits you looked through were frozen, so the only bit to look from was at the side a little way off; this was full of people, and not overly interesting. We abbandoned it, and went off looking in the surrounding shops..

At this point, the story takes a sad turn; I saw a beloved Maccaroni Grill. I nearly went in and said how i used to host there, but resisted the urge, becuase of how weird Id look (I dont really know what id do if someone did that to me, and I dont think Id care either..)

After that, we headed to a shopping complex, had a mooch around, and Ive found a new favourite shop; Urban Heritage. I intend to buy a number of things online, their tshirts were QUITE witty..

After that, nothing left to do but come home.
We headed for the airport, I got funny looks for my yellow passport, we got on the plane, I slept.
It was uncomfortable, and my eyes REALLY hurt the next day. I rejected all food presented to me..

We got home, I explained to my parents about my passport, they filled me in on the nothingness that had hapened here whilst I was away.
The circle of life continues.. ^^

We did a few evening activites inbetween as well, I just cant remember the order everything went in (for that matter, the order of hte things Ive put down - correct me, if you feel so inclined..)

One night we did a special bowling that came from that area of Canada; our team won overal. Hells yeah.
Another night we went to a big, heated outdoor swimming pool, which was nice to sit in whilst still feeling slightly queesy..

Overal, it was a nice little break away; Ive further refined my skiing, I know that Canadians are very nice people, and Ive learnt the true value of keeping my passport safe; after sitting in immigration with guys saying "Im from Poland and theyre deporting me", you dont want to be back in that room any time soon..
My total bill for hte passport is a little under $480CAN, which is covered by insurance btw, so Windeatts claiming it back for me..

Safe to say, this is my most epic most to date, and Im well aware of this - Ive missed loads out, and to those of you that have made it this far, well done! See me for a gold star (Y)
No doubt as Ive said before, Ill recall amusing annecdotes and slot them casually into conversation..

Im tired now.

"Iceberg, straight ahead."

Its finally happened; Ive had my first car crash. I say car crash, it was more of a car scrape.

I was taking Mike home on the 11th, and it was one of hte side roads right near my house. It gets real icey real quick down there, and it had been rather cold the previous few days, and itd iced over a bit.
I turn to go down it, and theres always cars parked down the side, so I go over to the other side (as usual) to go around them. I go to talk to Mike, when he calls my name and points forward, and theres a car coming towards me on the same side; a quick bit of estimation, and I realise were not going to stop if were going forwards (and Im breaking by this point), so I swerve over to the side and scrape down the side of a parked car, missing the woman about to get in it by a few feet.
It was bloody scarey, and Mike said the first words out of my worth were "Fuck. Shit.", and the whole thing was made worse by a guy coming out of his house just down the road, who start shouting about how sick he is of 'you fucking boy racers', and how hed 'reverse the cunt over my head' if id hit his children. Not nice.

Luckily he calmed down after a while, and he said he knew I hadnt done it on purpose (weirdly, I didnt come across as the 'boy racer' type; funny that), and he helped the woman and me get off again after shed taken a few of my details.
In my state of shock, I actually didnt think to take any of hers, so that was the first mission I went on when I got home and told my parents, who were refreshingly ok about the whole thing. This greatly pleased me.
"Accidents happen". It helps as well, my sisters first crash mashed the front so badly they couldnt open the bonnet :)

Were dealing with the insurance as we speak, and Im sure Ill keep you in loop..

And then he remembered to blog

Its been a good two weeks since my last blog, and rather a lot has happened; so as to make me more bothered to blog about it, and so theres less chance of losing it all and not wanting to start again, Ill break it up a bit..

Ehhhhhh garrryyyyy

My cards came!
And I found my passport, after thinking Id lost it!
And my tiny little pocket-watch arrived!
Today was a good day.

Im currently trying to put my new cards into an acceptable arragement, whilst trying to figure out what happened to the 5 cards that have apparently dissappeared. Unimpressed.
I also need to negotciate trying to return some of the multiples I accidentally bought, whilst buying more in return.

I also now have long-johns, which are really rather nice to wear - I still dont think its really hit me how close skiing rally is!
I maintain I dont get excited about things, never have, but once Im on that bus itll kick in :))

*BATTERY DIES*

Four hours later I come back to this; nothing else happened of interest.

Tomorrow Im going with Mike to get him waxed, and in the morning going to Georges for a Clix-off; goodtimezzz.

Oh shitting fuck.

I was flashed by a camera on the way home from Harrys [yesterday], but it was on the other side of the road.
Ive found some rather encouraging comments on forums on the interenet that all seem to collaborate, which made me feel a lot better..
Still got to tell the rents though, and Ill find out in two weeks whether or not you really DO neeed the lines on the floor to prove your speed or not.

We shall see..

"Youre a bug."

I find myself on Harrys floor once again; this is becomeing a regular thing, and its not a bad one.
We call them 'Harry and LewBear Thursday's (on a Tuesday)'.
Lasty week we had Harry and LewBear Thursday on a Tuesaday on a Thursday - WHAT A WAY TO SHAKE THINGS UP!!

He taught me HeroClix today; its really rather good.
Id proberly like it more if I didnt have to refer to the rulebook every 12 seconds, but its greatly more tactical that I realised, and hard to get a good balance with.
He gave me a pasting, but I took some guys down with me, so its all good.. ;D

Harrys putting left4dead2 on again; it stills scares me a bit, but I dont admit this to his face..

Ofsted are in tomorrow and Thursday, and are bound to be in many of my lessons; this doesnt greatly please me, as I have to be proactive and interested in the work, AND it means I cant play cards or practice clix for a couple of days. AND thier little base is next to where we all sit in the canteen, so weve got to stay proactive and interested in the work even during frees.
Dangit.

Skiing in FIVE days. ♥

Invictus

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of Circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of Chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Thou shalt not think having a blog makes you a journalist.

Vampire is going to be the ruin of me; Im going to put far too much effort and money into it, compared to my studies.

Ive got all manner of things planned; paintings, jackets, ties, jewelery, Elysia, gifts, layouts - its getting silly!

Its also getting interesting.. ^^

MAJOR cock block.

I covered for Rob at work today so he could get some action; how awesome am I.
I said no before he told me, and even a few times after he DID tell me the reason he wanted it off, hence the title.

He said hed text me after hed done it, but I didnt get one.. ¬¬
Maybe theyre still going..

Still need to email Manchester! D:
And order my cards! D:
And do my Vampire stuff! D:

"Next thing, were touching."

Yay!
It took nigh on an hour, but Ive finally arranged my blog into an acceptable layout and colour scheme!
This is the height of productivity for today; now though, Im going to email Manchester about my interview, which is two days after I get back from skiing - exciting timezzzz..

Id very much like to drink alcohol.
Somone offer me a refuge in which to do this.

Dudes (Y)

Bumblesquat.

Oh my, its 8 days until we go skiing - OOOOOH THE FREEDOM.
I cant wait; sliding down those mountains, the cool air on my face, the dazzling sun on my face, warm salopettes and the crunch under your feet as you step off the coach for hte first time. *sigh*

Mother has ordered me long-johns - this pleases me greatly.
Im also presently placing an order of cards to make my shite deck good. This also greatly pleases me.

Radio 1 is so good, howve I gone so long before now not listening to it..?

Twarty vagitus

Im still trying to get used to this blogging nonsense; Im nowhere near as arty and deep as others Ive seen, and so I shall try my damnedest to do so.
Dont get your hopes up..

Harrys abandoned me to get his hair cut, so Im blogging - I dont know how I spend the rest of my time so as to not find time to write in this, its not particularly difficult.
I need a phone that I can get on the internet with; I feel this would solve said problem.

There is nothing to report.
This is saddening.
I have new cards, but to anyone but a select few, this is more boring than nothing. My £26 card arrived the other day, and has made itself very much at home in my deck (its very rare - dont look at me like that, its worth it.. >.<)

I need some short and punchy poems to post, and a repeating background that symbolises my soul.
Or Ill just put some pretty colours up, I dunno..

Chuuune.
